Hi there rockstars, I’m Rach.
I was the classic Type-A (*currently in remission). You know the type: the fast-paced, high-achieving, go-getting, jet-setting, wine-swirling, always-coffee-drinking, loud-music-playing, yogi-gym-junkie sort …with a life to be envied.
Well, that’s what I thought it was for a while there anyway (until… cue… adulthood, kids, divorce, betrayal, burnout, injury, ageing and generally fu*king BOOM!).
It would be safe to say I spent most of the last 25+ years hustling way too hard and kicking ass in high-performance environments. But that’s not what I’m about today. At all. It has been a long winding journey full of plot twists, backflipping turns, and massive life pivots to get to where I am today. And there’s nowhere else I’d rather be.
Without really knowing it, my entire adult life has been about taking big action that builds resilience – navigating constant radical change, making scary courageous decisions, taking on seriously big goals, and continually overcoming and evolving through all the ‘stuff’ adulthood slams down on your path.
After winning a medal at the 2000 Olympics (behind that shiny silver medal is a lifetime of showing up, digging deep and doing the work), I made the difficult transition out of my first career and the world of elite sports into the high-performance demands of the corporate world. Trading one Type-A overachiever’s haven for another.
During my years in corporate HR, I was a card-carrying member of the hustle culture brigade. I worked way too hard alongside top leaders and supported individuals at the highest levels of their industries; but, just like all of my clients today, I too faced plenty of my own personal crises and crossroads.
Most of which didn’t fit in nicely around my career or family, and all of which repeatedly nosedived my fitness, health and wellbeing into the ground.
Like we all have by a certain age, I’ve navigated some of life’s most intense transitions – both personally and professionally.
From the highs of competing in the Olympics to the drudgery of the colicky sleepless nights of early motherhood, to juggling family and my own shaky wellbeing situation whilst holding senior corporate roles at the likes of KPMG and Virgin Australia.
I’ve floundered in the dark valleys; I’ve navigated loss, family breakdown, and the deepest betrayal of a long-time friend. I’ve experienced the dead end of burnout and the dull ring of relentless corporate-caused-cortisol.
I’ve been stuck in the quicksand more times than I’d like to admit – working too hard, drinking too much, numbing out and avoiding the hard stuff – living a life out of alignment with my values.
But I’ve also clawed my way back every-single-time. I’ve evolved, rebuilt, grown, and kept rewriting my story, choosing alignment. I’ve navigated all the mess that’s come at me and eventually jogged on… coming out the other side shining my light brighter than ever.
A co-parent of two (awesome) sons, I’ve faced down, worked on, and overcome self-criticism and negative self-talk, and learned to be my own # 1 supporter, all the while working way too hard to build a career and madly renovating properties on the side to build my own financial independence. Is it any wonder this wonder woman eventually crashed and burnt out?
Let me tell you, I’ve learned a thing or two about compassion, mindset, resilience, self-leadership, reinvention, and pushing (and creating) boundaries along the way.
After many years sprinting hard and climbing every freaking mountain I could find, I was exhausted – running on empty and facing an existential crisis – a feeling of gnawing hollowness, yearning for more meaning and purpose and craving a healthier new direction.
At first, it was subtle – a quiet sense that the career I had built in corporate HR wasn’t where I was meant to be anymore. Whispers from the body turning to screams as my physical health declined and injuries started setting in.
Over time, and as I took steps to acknowledge that exhaustion and burnout had set in, that quiet sense turned into an undeniable knowing, an overwhelming need to push away from the world I had built and known.
The persona I’d adopted to be an Olympian, to ‘achieve all that stuff’, and the life and career I’d created – now felt like crappy clothes that no longer fit. I needed a total reset, a new direction that felt aligned with who I really was – my truest, most authentic self. I needed to go deep, and I needed to go within.
So, I faced it down. I took action. I did the work.
I got my finances in order, and I planned and took an extended career break.
I paused all the corporate busy-ness to create the liminal space to slow down, reflect, heal, go offline, set new boundaries, get healthy, and re-connect back to the core of who I truly am.
Prioritising a sublime sabbatical devoted to growth, connection, health and wellness – balanced with the freedom to explore and return to myself. Think Wim Hof breathwork and cold immersion in the Australian high country, yoga, meditation and ayurvedic panchakarma retreats in Indonesia, and epic adventures with my two sons from East Africa to the Northern Arctic.
Along the way, I also sought out the right coaches, therapists and mentors to guide and support me through this period of transformation and reinvention.
Each experience helped me peel back the layers of who I was and who I wanted to become, and most importantly, gave me increasing clarity on where I could most be of service and my purpose going forward.
What started as a search for more meaning turned into an undeniable and compelling pull towards coaching – a gradual realisation that everything I had done up until that point could be channeled into helping others navigate their own career, life or health and wellness transitions.
Which brings us to the right here, right now
At the end of the day, what lights me up is seeing people thrive when they disrupt and reframe their own status quo – when they realise their own agency – when they stop following someone else’s script and start designing life on their own terms.
These days I’m all about inspiring, guiding, coaching, and mentoring others as they rewrite the rules, reclaim their story, and blaze their own fu*king trail – without selling their soul or sacrificing themselves in the process.
As a coach now in my own right, I give you all this experience *gestures broadly above* to help you rise up and stride a new path that feels so bloody true.
I’ve been where you are – whether you’re managing burnout, facing a career crisis, or standing at the edge knowing it’s time for a major life change. I use everything I’ve learned to help you plan, reinvent and build a life that feels authentic, purposeful, and fulfilling.
With years of senior HR experience, I’ve sat ‘behind closed doors’ at the leadership table where critical career decisions are made. This insider perspective equips me to provide invaluable guidance on navigating workplace systems and achieving what matters most to you in work and life.
I do more than coach you to navigate your very own redefining pivot era. I’m also… A wise sounding board (think of me like your own private Yoda). A mirror that will gently call you out on your BS. An eye opener to the things you can’t see right now. Pulling back the covers to face the things you know – deep down – you have to if you’re going to move forward.
Able to bring you back to you and what matters most.
Here to help you envision and map out your next moves with bite-sized, doable steps to leap into your next iteration.
Through my one-on-one coaching and programs, I leverage my unique blend of Olympic athlete mindset with my life and high-performance HR experience to support and guide clients across the globe in reinventing themselves or navigating major life and career change.
I’ve been where you are – for me, coaching is now about helping others redefine their lives and careers.
I like to think of it as high-performance coaching that positively redefines un-f#@king-stoppable lives.
No matter how small or how big the change, how audacious and scary that might feel. Sometimes it’s the smallest tweaks that make the biggest difference.
I help people who know that “something needs to change”- even if you’re not sure what that is yet. Whether it’s your career, life, wellness, or all three, there’s something gnawing at you, keeping you up at night – something needs to give.
I guide both men and women through proactive, and authentic performance, life, career and wellness coaching. I also specialise in leadership coaching focused on helping senior executives optimise their ‘leadership lifestyle’ through a holistic approach to wellbeing, cultivating authentic leadership styles, and prioritizing mindsets and behaviors that inspire others to excel.
Whether you’re contemplating shifting into a new career, feeling psychologically burnt out and needing to reset your health and wellness, or you’re on the edge of a transition to exit the corporate rat race, I’ve been where you are – and I’m here to help you carve a new path – one that feels aligned and authentically YOU.
Through my coaching, I empower you to envision and create your next chapter with purpose, guiding you to adopt new habits and mindsets that align with and enable the life you truly want.
Sometimes all you need is a Rach-Taylor-special-sort-of-loving-kick-up-the-a$$.

I am known for my frank, empathetic, zero BS support. When you work with me, it’s not about quick fixes or surface-level goals.
Much of my thinking feels counterculture and subversive. I call BS on hustle culture. I call BS on modern-day capitalism’s obsession with output at all costs. I call BS on sporting systems that discard athletes overnight with no regard for their physical, mental or emotional health when it’s all said and done. I could go on, but the “I call BS” list gets quite long. You get the idea.
I’m here to dig deep with you – to help you face the big questions and navigate the tricky stuff – the (usually scary) transitions that come with leveling up your life.
I’ve been through so many of these moments myself, and I know what it takes. I got you.
I PROVIDE:
Structured coaching with clear, actionable steps to move you forward.
Tough love when needed; accountability along with deep empathy and support.
A no-BS approach to cutting through the noise and getting to the core of what’s holding you back.
I’ll be your biggest rock and your enthusiastic cheerleader, but I’ll also hold you accountable to your goals- enabling you to become the most authentic, aligned and powerful version of yourself.
Book in a virtual coffee, and let’s chat about how we can make it happen.
Good health is the bedrock for everything else, without it, we are nothing. Prioritising mental, physical, and emotional well-being is non-negotiable. In my coaching, I integrate wellness coaching to emphasise the importance of habits and routines that support overall vitality. When you feel healthy, balanced and strong, you can show up more fully in all areas of life
Connection with family and friends is the very essence of the joy we experience in life. As a coach, I help my clients cultivate and nurture these vital connections, keeping compromises in check while they pursue big goals, by remaining anchored in the love and support of those in their front row, their tribe.
Integrity starts by standing with honour by your own principles and showing up authentically as yourself. In coaching, I help my clients hone in and realign with their own core values and commit to the actions that reflect their truest selves. When you live with integrity, authenticity and honour, you not only strengthen your own foundation but also become someone others can trust and depend on, especially in moments of pressure or transition and change
Kaizen. I believe in the pursuit of growth—always moving forward, learning, reflecting and evolving. In my coaching, this translates into empowering my clients to consistently challenge themselves, break through comfort zones, and become the best version of who they can be. Together, we’ll focus on growth, not just for today, but evolving for the long haul
My life has been immeasurably enriched by seeking deeper meaning and embracing the meaning, beauty and awe of life. Whether it’s through yoga, breath work, nature, or self-reflection; non-religious spiritual growth plays a vital role in expanding both my personal journey and the coaching work I do with clients. I will challenge you to explore the deeper questions that can unlock purpose and clarity.
Drop your deets. Promise I don’t do yawn-inducing-SNOOZELETTERs!
